Alexandria has been my home since the age of two and I know the lakes and the all areas very well. After graduating from Alexandria’s Jefferson Senior High School, I headed to St. Paul and the University of St. Thomas for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing (’92).
Since 2002, assisting people with buying or selling real estate in the Alexandria area has been my full-time profession with the majority of my transactions involving lakefront real estate but also included buyers and sellers of homes in Alexandria’s residential neighborhoods without lake frontage. As we say in Alexandria, all homes are lake homes as most are no more than a 5 minute drive from a public water access. Some just happen to be a few steps from shoreline.
Wondering what areas I cover? The area I define as my market, and what I am referring to when I say or write “the Alexandria, Minnesota real estate market”, is roughly a twenty mile radius from my office at Counselor Realty. I’d like to extend the area I work with buyers and sellers of real estate but there are enough lakes and neighborhoods within that specific area that it is already a big enough task keeping on top of the real estate market and knowing the varying shorelines of each lake.
