Until July 15th or until the lake levels have decreased there is a no-wake zone 300 feet from the shoreline. The new rule is for the following lakes; Brophy, Burgen, Carlos, Cowdry, Darling, Geneva, Ida, Jessie, Latoka, LeHomme Dieu, Louise, Maple, Miltona, North Union, Stony, Taylor, and Victoria. I am not sure why North Union is included in the list as it is always a no-wake lake. Maybe the penalty would be double for creating a wake at North Union?
I am a licensed real estate broker in Minnesota with Alexandria Brokers Realty and my market is the Greater Alexandria Area of Minnesota. Since 2002 lakefront real estate has been my focus and I’ve worked with numerous lakefront buyers and sellers. I’ve made it my job to know the shorelines of all of the lakes and the demand in any kind of market environment, hot or cold, and stay ahead of the curve in technology to benefit those that have entrusted me to help them sell or buy.
