Big Chip Road in Brandon. It is on the west side of Lake Chippewa (Big Chip) and the most developed part of the 1,185 acre lake. And, it is for a good reason. Lake Latoka (latoka.com) in Alexandria is a clean lake now and has always been. Whenever the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources tests water clarity Latoka has one of the better scores in Douglas County. Lake Scandinavian, better known as "Scandi" by locals, is a lake near Glenwood, Minnesota that is 415 acres with 3.84 miles of shoreline. It definitely could be labeled a serene setting.
