Yesterday, lake lot sales in Alexandria came up in a discussion with a client and I was reminded that this will be the last year a classic cottage on Lake Darling’s Darling Drive will grace the shoreline. It is a ‘pending’ sale in the Alexandria MLS without contingencies and even though I have been told what the plans are, the plans to tear down is also in the description of the property in the MLS listing. For me, a lover of old lake cottages and cabins, it will be sad to see. There aren’t many left and one of them on Lake Carlos (lakecarlos.com) went on the market last week.
