Last summer I bought a scooter and wish I had done it many years ago. I bought it primarily to use during the summer while at the lake but found myself looking for reasons to start it up and go for a ride. It is a blast. And, the gas mileage is phenomenal. The tank is only holds a little more than a gallon but the mileage (113 MPG!) it gets out of a gallon eliminates the need for a big tank.
On my ‘ToDo’ list has been to provide more neighborhood tours on this site. One of the reasons I share a lot of aerial photos and videos is I think they are helpful to people that aren’t that familiar with the area. Hopefully those that are familiar like them too. Anyway, yesterday afternoon was a beautiful day and that along with my scooter gave me the impetus to go for a ride and record a visit to Darling Drive. The video begins just before the Carlos-Darling channel and then I turn right onto Darling Drive and take you past the homes and cottages until Darling Drive ends at Camp Ballentine.
