At the risk of being repetitive, I’d like to share that Lake Burgen should be considered by anyone looking for an investment in a lake lot or a lot to build a home.
The reason I am once again writing this is I have a 2.15 acre lot with 150 feet of lake frontage listed for sale. But, I’d pass on the same opinion even if I didn’t have an interest in a sale of a listed property at Burgen. All lake properties grab my attention and interest. And, I am definitely a fan of Alexandria’s Chain of Lakes.
But Burgen keeps grabbing my attention.
Its location is prime. Close to I-94. Close to the new high school in Alexandria. Close to the elementary school that many want to have their children attend. Close to the southern shopping district in Alexandria. Close to Alexandria’s top rated medical facilities.
Closeness is good. But beyond the reasons I mentioned, the lake is clean and almost always very quiet. Scenic too. On the east side the topography is such that most lots have elevated views that give nice views not only of the sun setting each day.
It is a great lake that Burgen people want to keep a secret.
