100 years ago (100 years and 5 days to be exact) in Minnesota’s Douglas County a plat named Carlos Bluffs was recorded along the west side of Lake Carlos. After the original plat there have been six additions west of the original plat creating an appealing, heavily treed neighborhood. To visit it, drive north on County Road 11 and then turn left onto Bluffs Road. The paved road has two access points along CR 11 and all the homes have the benefit of having a Public Access to Lake Carlos about 1.5 miles north of them. A drive to downtown Alexandria is also relatively short at 12 – 14 minutes.
My brokerage has a Bluffs Road property that was recently listed in the MLS and this past week I visited it to record some tours.
