DOGS AND CIC’S AT LAKES IN ALEX

There is a new lakefront condo listing that should grab quite a bit of attention and the question about whether dogs are allowed will be asked many times. I’ve already been asked a few times. There are two associations at lakes in Alexandria that don’t allow dogs. They are Blakes by the Lakes (Lake Carlos) and Interlachen Shores (Lake Le Homme Dieu). A real bummer for buyers and a bummer for sellers at these associations as a good chunk of buyers are going to be eliminated so it reduces demand. Both are very nice CIC’s (common interest community) to live at and hopefully they will change as the ownership changes over the years.
