If you are in the market for a home and know the area of Alexandria that you’d like to live, consider using my real estate search with advanced features. In it there are many options to filter your real estate search but one feature that should be useful if you know the areas you prefer is the ability to draw on the map. It isn’t drawing but is a polygon tool. Click/tap and you can outline the areas you desire. Be sure to double click/double tap to finish your specified area.
Notice the white anchors. If a mistake is made hover over one of the anchors until you see a hand with a finger pointing. It will allow you to adjust the anchors. In the embedded screenshot I have defined an area on the east side of Alexandria so you can see the white anchors I referred to.
Below the mapped area are options to narrow down the results further. On the search results page, you will be presented with homes for sale but can also see pending sales and closed sales.
In the upper right corner of the pages with search results is a button to ‘Save This Search‘. If you save the search, when logged in this search and any others you have saved or save will be on MY ALEXMN along with and listings you have saved (look for a heart at the top right of a listing page). The default after saving a search will be for an email to be sent to you when there is a match for a new listing, a pending sale, and/or a closed sale but you can change the settings of each search to have the emails sent on specific days of the week. In the Property Organizer at the bottom of each saved search, you can name each search to help you keep your searches easily identifiable to you.
