Maple Lake is nearby the southern business district of Alexandria. In the video embedded above (recorded in October) you will see a number of Maple Lake homes. They are located at the southeast and south end of the 830 acre lake. The video begins at the southern portion of Forada Beach Road (for those that are familiar, the start location is where Forada Beach Road is unpaved) and moves south and then west along South Maple Lake Road.

All of the properties are within Douglas County but the homes along Forada Beach Road have Alexandria mailing addresses and those along South Maple Lake Road have Glenwood addresses. All are part of School District 206.
