Red Rock has been very popular this year. Seven sales of lake homes wouldn’t garner attention for lakes such as Darling, Carlos and Le Homme Dieu but for a 520 acre lake that isn’t overdeveloped, it is noteworthy. Certainly there is nothing wrong with Red Rock that would account for seven sales in a calendar year that isn’t over yet, otherwise there wouldn’t have been seven buyers and it should be noted that the days on the market for these seven properties were normal or better than the market average for lake homes in the Greater Alexandria Area Association of REALTORS.
The price range for the six that are closed sales (one property listed at $275,000 is under contract but hasn’t closed yet) was $84,900 to $225,000. Here is a list of the six that have sold with the ask price listed first and followed by the sale price.
