Enjoying Every Minute of Summer

My neighbors at the lake are really nice people and two of them have two really great dogs. I am in the camp that believes all dogs are great but these two dogs are especially well socialized. One of the dogs is an English Spring Spaniel named Piper. I love it when Piper is around as every minute she is awake, she wants to enjoy her favorite activity. Retrieving her dummy from the lake. I love it as I also have a fantastic dog (possibly the world’s best) but the closest she gets to the water is an occasional trip out on the dock. Piper’s human buddies gave me the green light to indulge her so now any time they aren’t outside or are busy, she’ll appear near me with the dummy and it is play time. I don’t mean to get too touchy feely on you but watching her is a reminder to make the most of each day and enjoy what you love. And with that, I am going to close my laptop and head out for a paddle on my SUP. It’s Sunday morning and the lake is quiet and like glass. Have a great day.
