Below is a video I recently shot while on North Union Lake in Alexandria while a loon politely told me either to stay away or was alerting its fellow loons. Alexandria’s Chain of Lakes begins with Lake Brophy which connects to North Union which is a small, scenic lake. I think there are only two homes at North Union and it looks like it should be on canvas. Serenity is the word that always comes to mind when I picture North Union. The Central Lakes Trail passes between Brophy and Union and I look forward to it each time I go out for a ride or an inline skate from Alexandria towards Garfield.
