Being that Mother Nature has been confused this winter I figured those of you that aren’t in the area would be interested to see the status of the ice at the lakes in Alexandria. So with my drone in tow, yesterday, the first day of Spring, I parked at the Lake Geneva Public Access and recorded footage at the north end of Geneva.
Using Lake Le Homme Dieu as the barometer, below are the ice out dates for the past twenty years (courtesy of Echo Press).
