If you take out your dock and/or boat lift and discover zebra mussels and it is a lake where zebra mussels haven’t been found prior to your discovery, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources asks you to document the discovery and then contact them at (888) 646-6367 or MN DNR office as soon as possible.
Documentation suggestions include noting the location, taking a photo and keeping a sample.
