ABOUT LAKE VERMONT
Lake Vermont is a lake like Lake Burgen to me. When you are out on it, it feels larger than the reported acreage. Vermont’s size is reported as being 337 acres. The maximum depth is 59 feet and the most recent MN DNR Fisheries Lake Survey reported excellent clarity of 14.8 feet. Its location is about 15 miles north of Alexandria, just north of Lake Miltona. For people looking for a quiet, scenic lake with an “up north” feel, Lake Vermont is definitely worth consideration.
Lake Vermont is in Douglas County and its lake classification is Recreational Development.
