At the southwest corner of the second largest lake in Douglas County (MN), Lake Ida, is Bedman Drive. It is a paved township road with no outlet. Very peaceful. And, the location is advantageous as it is a short drive to downtown Alexandria and an even shorter drive to places such as Arrowwood, Zorbaz, the Alexandria Golf Club and Bug-a-Boo Bay.
It isn’t very often that level, sandy lakeshore is for sale at prime Alexandria lakes and is even more uncommon to have them right next to each other. That is the case today. Two adjacent lots on Bedman Drive are both listed for sale. Different owners with the same reason for having them on the market. They both now have homes on an Alexandria lake. Both of these lots have public sewer ready (connection fee needed). Only a well will be needed. As you will see in the video I recorded yesterday for lot 2, it is a really nice setting.
If they interest you, feel free to visit and walk them. Both lots have the corners staked. There are two routes to get to this location. Heading north on County Road 34, turn left onto County Road 61. Then, turn right on Bedman Drive and turn left at the T. Or, if you are on County Road 22, turn right on 61, left on Bedman and left at the T. All routes are paved. No gravel roads.
